Bangkok:Executives and employees of MCOT Public Company Limited participated in a merit-making ceremony and alms-giving to honor the reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on October 13, 2026.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Jetsada Pongthanathanawat, Acting President and CEO of MCOT Public Company Limited, along with other executives and employees, took part in the ceremony. They offered alms to nine monks from Wat Phra Ram 9 Kanchana Phisek as a tribute to King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the anniversary of his passing.
This commemoration highlights the King's immeasurable kindness and benevolence towards the Thai people. His Majesty was known for initiating over 4,000 royal projects aimed at alleviating suffering and improving the quality of life for his subjects, which continue to contribute to the peace and prosperity experienced by the nation today.
