Nakhon ratchasima: Lt. Gen. Boonsin Phadklang has confirmed that the proposed agricultural drone training project has not been implemented.
According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Gen. Boonsin explained that a private company had visited the Second Army Region to donate items and discuss a potential drone training program aimed at enhancing soldiers' skills in agricultural applications. The meeting concluded with a photo session, but no concrete actions have been taken regarding the project.
During a statement made on September 12, 2015, Lt. Gen. Boonsin, Commander of the Second Army Region, addressed the situation in which the private company had posed for photos with him while presenting their proposal. He mentioned that the interaction mirrored previous visits from other companies and individuals who come to offer gifts and present ideas. Lt. Gen. Boonsin listened to the company's proposal for approximately 10 minutes before a photo was taken and the group departed.
Lt. Gen. Boonsin reiterated, "I confirm that nothing has been done. It hasn't been thoroughly investigated. I confirm again that nothing has been done." This statement underscores that the project remains in its preliminary stages, with no further developments or investigations having taken place.
