Bangkok: A compilation of 685 top restaurants across Thailand has been revealed in the Users’ Choice Best of 2026 list, now available to the public. This list is backed by 26 million genuine reviews and reflects the diverse tastes and eating habits of Thai people.
According to Thai News Agency, LINE MAN Wongnai, a leading on-demand and restaurant information platform in Thailand, announced the results of the ‘LINE MAN Wongnai Users’ Choice Best of 2026′ awards. This recognition highlights the best restaurants with positive reviews from over 26 million users nationwide, selecting 685 restaurants from over 700,000 across Thailand. The selection ranges from legendary street food to fine dining, showcasing Thai culinary culture through real reviews, ratings, and orders. It emphasizes how Thais today eat, choose, and review authentically. Additionally, the event introduced a new award, ‘Food Person of the Year,’ for the first time.
The highlight of this year’s awards is the inaugural ‘LINE MAN Wongnai The Visionary Taste Maker Award,’ also known as the Food Person of the Year Award. This accolade recognizes individuals who are innovating and transforming the Thai food industry, particularly in creativity, brand development, and promoting Thai cuisine on the international stage.
Ms. Pla – Atchara Burarak, founder of iBerry Group, is recognized for her influential role in the premium restaurant industry and for driving the success and growth of over 22 restaurant and dessert brands. Her unique food branding strategies have helped her expand into international markets. Meanwhile, Ms. Jae – Siriwan Thoranithikul, owner of the Is_Happened restaurant chain, is celebrated for showcasing contemporary culinary styles across various establishments, including casual Italian and Thai restaurants.
Chef Ice – Supakorn Jongsiri, owner of ‘Sorn’ restaurant, has elevated Southern Thai cuisine on the international scene, presenting authentic Thai flavors to a global audience. This achievement reflects the potential of Thai people to position Thailand as a world-class food destination. Sorn, a popular dine-in restaurant, is noted for its classic Thai dishes.
The Best Dine-in Restaurant of the Year award was given to Sorn, Sushi Saito, Mahasan, Gamsa_aree, and HOTPOT MAN, while the “Best Noodle Shop of the Year” award recognized favorites like ThongSmith and Ah Liang Braised Beef Noodle. Other categories included Best Spicy Thai Salad (Yum) Restaurant, Best Dessert Shop, and Best Beverage Shop of the Year, recognizing establishments such as SAMADOOL COFFEE and BEARHOUSE.
In addition to recognizing popular shops, the awards reflect an overview of the Thai food industry’s rapid growth. This includes international food trends, the health-conscious trend, and brand campaigns generating online buzz. Categories like Best Japanese Restaurant and Best International Restaurant of the Year further showcase the diversity of the culinary landscape.
The awards for outstanding new shops acknowledged establishments experiencing remarkable growth, such as NOOD’s and POLLY Atelier Tea. The Most Popular Restaurant of the Year was awarded to Krua Baan A, while the Best Foodie Campaign of the Year went to Refreshing and Refreshing with Coke.
The ultimate collaboration award paired renowned restaurants to create exclusive new menus on LINE MAN, showcasing the charm of Thai flavors from street food to local Thai restaurants nationwide.
