Bangkok: Kanvee Suebsaeng, a prominent member of the Justice Party, has officially resigned from the Fair Party and is preparing to lead a newly formed political entity, the Phalawat Party (Dynamic Party). According to Thai News Agency, Kanvee submitted his resignation to the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) and announced his intention to head the new party, which is committed to advancing Thai society through innovative and actionable policies.
Kanvee explained that the Phalawat Party aims to address the stagnation in Thai politics and society, an issue highlighted by the dissolution of parliament on December 12th, a day after significant political events on December 11th. The party has already been registered in Suphan Buri province and is ready to participate in the upcoming elections, focusing on policies that are not only feasible but also forward-looking.
The Phalawat Party promises to prioritize economic development through creative economy initiatives and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Kanvee emphasized the necessity of looking beyond domestic politics to address global challenges, criticizing old-style politics for hindering progress and eroding public trust. He expressed his confidence in the party's ability to compete with larger political entities, highlighting the need for practical solutions and visionary leadership.
Kanvee's vision includes forming a government that can offer tangible solutions to propel the country forward. He has expressed interest in becoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs if his party joins the coalition government, citing the need for strong international relations for Thailand. The official launch of the Phalawat Party is scheduled for December 15th in Suphan Buri, with a second event planned in Bangkok.
The party's symbol, a stylized Thai letter "?" (P) with three strokes, represents the waves of progress they hope to bring to Thailand. The green color signifies freshness and hope, aligning with their vision of making Thailand a leader on the global stage. Kanvee's move signifies a call for change in Thai politics, urging old-style politicians to adapt and embrace new approaches for the nation's advancement.
