Nakhon pathom: Agriculture and Industry Ministries Join Forces to Launch the "Mobile Agricultural Clinic Project under the Royal Patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn," Providing Comprehensive Assistance to Farmers. The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, is proactively working in Nakhon Pathom province to launch the "Mobile Agricultural Clinic Project under the Royal Patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn" at Wat Phrong Maduea School (Sri Witthayakon). This project aims to provide on-site, comprehensive, and one-stop services covering production, cost management, quality control, and value-added processing. The event was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Captain Thamanat Phromphao, and Deputy Minister of Industry, Chief Petty Officer Yotsing Liemlert, along with executives and representatives from relevant agencies.
According to Thai News Agency, Captain Thamanat stated that the Mobile Agricultural Clinic project is a crucial mechanism for upholding and continuing His Majesty's royal initiatives for comprehensive national development. He emphasized that bringing "people, tools, and knowledge" to the field will help farmers access government services more easily, reduce procedures and costs, and increase opportunities for tangible improvements in product quality. Nakhon Pathom province has a large number of farmers in crop, livestock, and processing sectors. The mobile agricultural clinics provide comprehensive consultations, from production and cost management to upgrading quality standards and adding value, ensuring farmers have stable and sustainable incomes. He reflected on the government's key approach: "The clinics are not just for short-term relief, but for laying the foundation for farmers to be self-reliant and competitive in today's economy."
Petty Officer 1st Class Yotsing indicated that the Ministry of Industry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, visited the area because they view the agricultural sector as a crucial production base for the country. This sector can be "further developed" through processing to add value, creating income and economic opportunities for farmers and communities. Going forward, both ministries will integrate their cooperation, connecting the entire supply chain from upstream to downstream, from developing knowledge and standards to enhancing processing and marketing capabilities. This field visit reflects a shared working style: action over words, focusing on tangible results for the public. He emphasized to civil servants and relevant agencies that they must not be complacent during the election period because "the people's issues cannot wait," and government work must continue uninterrupted to provide full service to the public in all situations.
