Israel Prepares Return of Last Thai Hostage’s Body from Gaza

Jerusalem: Israel has confirmed the identity of the last Thai hostage's body in the Gaza Strip and is taking steps to return it to Thailand promptly. Israeli authorities identified the body as that of Suthisak, who was previously held by Hamas and returned to Thailand.

According to Thai News Agency, the examination of the body took place following its release by Hamas, confirming it to be that of Mr. Suthisak, aged 42. He lost his life during a Hamas attack on Kibbutz Beri in Israel on October 7, 2013. Hamas subsequently took his body into the Gaza Strip. The return of hostages and bodies remains a significant component of US President Donald Trump's initial plan to resolve the Gaza conflict. Presently, one hostage is alive, and another hostage's body is still in the Gaza Strip.
