Bangkok: The Consumer Protection Board has decided to extend the investigation period for the controversial angel audio clip by an additional 30 days. This decision was revealed by Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, following a request from the fact-finding committee overseeing the case. According to Thai News Agency, the initial 30-day deadline for the investigation into the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB)'s handling of the audio clip expired on October 16. Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, who supervises the OCPB, has signed off on the extension. The investigation will now continue from November 15 to December 15 to allow for additional witness testimonies, ensuring a comprehensive and fair investigation for all parties involved.
