Bangkok: Half-and-Half Plus is booming! Total spending has surged to over 19 billion baht, with nearly 19 million people nationwide using their rights.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Winij Wisetsupwanaphum, Director-General of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, revealed progress on the use of the Half-Half Plus (Half-Half) Project. As of 5:00 PM on November 6, 2025, over 18.91 million people had successfully spent over 19,358.60 million baht. This comprises 9,796.76 million baht paid by the public and 9,561.84 million baht co-payed by the government. People can spend at participating merchants until December 31, 2025, between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM, via G-Wallet in the "Paotang" application. They are not required to spend the full 200 baht per day. As of 5:00 PM on November 6, 2025, 868,148 merchants have successfully completed registration for the project.
The Ministry of Finance spokesperson added that tomorrow (November 7, 2025) will be the first day people can spend at participating restaurants and beverages through four food delivery platforms: Grab, Lineman, Robinhood, and ShopeeFood. Users must first use their rights through the "Paotang" application before linking to their preferred food delivery platform. Food and beverage orders can be placed between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM until December 31, 2025.
It should be emphasized that citizens must begin their first spending by November 11, 2025, at 11:00 PM. If this period is exceeded, they will be deemed not to wish to participate in the program and will be disqualified from the program.
Additionally, we would like to inform merchants who have applied to participate in the program that approximately 40,000 merchants have passed the eligibility check but have not yet clicked the "Accept Terms and Conditions" button in the "Tung Ngern" app. As a result, they are still unable to begin accepting benefits from the public. Therefore, please verify and maintain your merchant's eligibility by clicking the button. If merchants experience any issues using the "Tung Ngern" app, they can contact Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited for assistance in resolving any issues.
