Bangkok: Government leaders joined in celebrating Anutin Charnvirakul's 59th birthday with joyful greetings from MPs after the election, wishing him another four years as prime minister.
According to Thai News Agency, the Bhumjaithai Party organized a birthday celebration for Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, attended by coalition parties including the Kla Tham Party. Key figures present included Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, the party's advisor; Narumon Pinyosinwat, the party's leader; Santi Promphat, the Palang Pracharath Party Secretary-General; Pattana Promphat, Santi's son; Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the prospective Minister of Transport; and Ekniti Nitithanpraphat, the prospective Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
Family members such as Thananon Niramis, his wife; Seranee and Naiyaphak Chanwirakul, Anutin's children; and Traisulee Traisaranakul, former secretary to the Minister of the Interior and an MP for the Bhumjaithai Party, participated in the celebrations. They joined in singing Happy Birthday and blowing out the candles, creating a joyful atmosphere.
This year's birthday cake featured a picture of Anutin holding a Buriram United football club shirt with the number 32, representing his status as the 32nd Prime Minister of Thailand. Reporters noted that after the song ended, MPs at the event expressed that if Anutin served as Prime Minister for the full four months as required, Parliament would be dissolved, and he would have the opportunity to serve another four years following an election.
