Bangkok: The government has officially launched the "Kon La Khrueng Plus" food delivery program, inviting citizens to participate starting today. The initiative, aimed at promoting spending through designated food delivery platforms, can only be accessed via the Pao Tang app.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Aiyarin Phanrit announced that the program allows individuals to exercise their rights through participating restaurants and beverage shops. For the first time, the program integrates four food delivery platforms: Grab, Lineman, Robinhood, and ShopeeFood, enhancing accessibility and convenience for users by providing broader merchant options.
Participants are required to navigate the "Paotang" application to link with their chosen food delivery platform, with orders permissible between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM until December 31, 2025. Transactions necessitate a top-up to the G Wallet, and all orders must originate from participating restaurants. The selection and purchase process must occur through the respective food delivery app, with refunds processed within approximately 30 minutes if an order is canceled.
Ms. Airin highlighted the prohibition of cash transactions or compensation outside the platform's framework. Transactions are to remain legitimate, ensuring the buyer and seller are not the same entity or located together physically.
"The government insists that initial spending must occur by 11:00 PM on November 11, 2025. Non-compliance will result in program exclusion and revocation of eligibility. As of 5:00 PM on November 6, 2025, over 18.91 million individuals have engaged with the program, generating over 19.358 billion baht in spending, split between 9.796 billion baht from citizens and 9.561 billion baht from government contributions," Ms. Airin stated.
