Free Entry to National Parks on National Father’s Day

Bangkok: In celebration of National Father's Day, which coincides with the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation is offering free entry to national parks across the country on December 5th. Thai citizens and their vehicles can enjoy complimentary access to a variety of protected forest areas on this special day.

According to Thai News Agency, the initiative aims to promote tourism and provide an opportunity for the public to engage with nature through recreational activities. This gesture is also intended to foster an appreciation for the conservation of natural resources and the environment. Among the areas included in this offer are national parks, parks, botanical gardens, arboretums, and wildlife sanctuaries.

The Department of National Parks encourages citizens to take advantage of this opportunity to explore these protected areas and gain a deeper understanding of the natural world. The initiative not only celebrates the legacy of King Bhumibol but also seeks to enhance public awareness about the importance of preserving the country's natural heritage.
