Samut prakan: An electric car plowed into nine motorcycles, injuring seven and killing one. The accident took place in Soi Mahachai, Bang Phli Yai Subdistrict, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, in front of a convenience store.
According to Thai News Agency, the tragic incident resulted in the death of a 57-year-old man at the scene, while the driver of the electric car, along with seven others, sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
Local authorities from Bang Kaeo Police Station responded promptly to the scene. They began collecting evidence and reviewing CCTV footage to understand the circumstances surrounding the accident. Police are also preparing to interview the driver of the electric car, as well as witnesses and bystanders, to ascertain the true cause of the collision and to proceed with the necessary legal procedures.
