According to Thai News Agency, the Chairman of the Election Commission, Mr. Narong Klanwarin, along with his team, traveled to Rayong and Chonburi provinces to oversee the training of election officials for the upcoming parliamentary and referendum elections. The preparations are reported to be nearly complete.

Following a visit to the Election Commission offices in Chanthaburi and Trat provinces, Mr. Narong and his team commenced their day at Nakhon Rayong Witthayakhom School. They inspected the training sessions for polling station officials and delivered policy guidelines to election inspectors and rapid response teams at the Rayong Provincial Election Commission office. Mr. Narong emphasized that the Election Commission is nearly ready, with only briefings left to conduct. He highlighted that the referendum process is a new addition, requiring eligible voters who are unable to vote to provide a reason for their absence. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification from running for positions such as Member of Parliament, Senator, local council member, local administrator, village headman, or sub-district headman.

In the afternoon, Mr. Narong is scheduled to visit Chonburi province to continue delivering policy guidelines to election inspectors and rapid response teams at the Chonburi Provincial Election Commission office.
