Cairo: The Egyptian Football Association has decided not to send star striker Mohamed Salah to play in the match against Cape Verde in the Al Ain Tournament in the United Arab Emirates on Monday, November 17.
According to Thai News Agency, the Egyptian team traveled to participate in a friendly tournament during the FIFA Day in November, which includes Iran, Uzbekistan, and Cape Verde. The Pharaohs faced a setback after losing 0-2 to Uzbekistan in the semi-finals on Friday, a match where Bangmo played throughout, resulting in Egypt competing for third place against Cape Verde.
For the upcoming match against Cape Verde, Egypt has opted to rest Salah.
