Phaya Thai: The artist team consisting of 'ALEX FACE', 'MXRNIES', and the 'DREAMGRAFF' team led by 'KANAET' organized a workshop to paint the Dream Stadium: Paint Your Dream Space by Big One at the sports field behind the Phahon Yothin Expressway Toll Booth (Soi Phra Nang) on Sunday, May 11th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
According to Thai News Agency, this initiative is part of Think Curve's Dream Stadium project, which aims to enhance sports fields across Bangkok and neighboring provinces through art. The project previously featured copyrighted drawings from the cartoon 'Captain Tsubasa' by Yoichi Takahashi, which were used to enrich various stadiums, including Pin Charoen 3 Stadium, Don Mueang, and others.
This new phase of the project sees the collaboration with Kidsidekhong and Big One Group, a leading manufacturer and distributor of snacks in Thailand, under the concept Paint Your Dream Space. The event featured the artist groups 'ALEX FACE', 'MXRNIES', and the 'DREAMGRAFF' team, along with community members and representatives from supporting organizations.
The workshop was attended by notable figures such as Natchamon Chai-amnat, Assistant Director of Phaya Thai District, and Haruthai Maniwong, Head of Community Development and Social Welfare Department. Community members, alongside representatives from Big One Group and Think Curve, participated in painting the field according to a detailed design, with plans to complete the field by May 30th.
ALEX FACE, one of the designers, expressed the novelty and importance of the project, highlighting the challenge and excitement of painting a field. He emphasized the project's goal of making the space functional and engaging for the community, bringing a fresh urban aesthetic to the area.
Natchadamorn Chai-amnat praised the community involvement and the positive atmosphere of the event. He noted the significance of introducing such art to the Phaya Thai District, which could attract both locals and visitors to experience this form of artistic expression.
