Bangkok: Designers are set to reveal their ideas for the Dusit Central Park project as part of the Central Park Design for Bangkok event, taking place from January 29 to February 8, 2026. The event, organized in collaboration with the Central Park shopping mall and Bangkok Design Week 2026, aims to highlight the design and development process of Dusit Central Park under the theme of Design for Bangkok, with a focus on sustainable urban elevation.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Khunayut Dechudom, Asset Director at Central Park, emphasized the project's role as a collaborative platform for various sectors to engage and exchange insights. This initiative aims to shape the project's direction and explore new opportunities, spanning from planning and design to the project's actual development. The collaboration between an international team and Thai designers serves as a testament to the potential of Thai talent, particularly in landscape architecture, which has gained international acclaim.
Mr. Siradej Tonawanik, Vice President of Hotel Business Development (Global) at Dusit International, highlighted the project's dedication to creating a space that authentically embodies Bangkok's identity. The design integrates architecture, public spaces, and user experience, fostering a connection between the city, nature, and lifestyle through a people-centered approach.
Mr. Chutatham Chirathivat, Head of Business and Design Development at Central Pattana Public Company Limited, noted the impressive design process of the Master Plan, which harmonizes retail, residential, office, and hotel components. This integration is guided by the 'Here for Bangkok' vision, ensuring that the project is deeply woven into the fabric of the city and its residents' lives.
