Bangkok: The person who drafted the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the local government recruitment exam insists they are not involved in corruption. Deputy Governor Manas appeared at the Local Administration Office, stating he drafted the advanced Terms of Reference (TOR) based on the original. He declared that if anyone wanted information, they should ask Rangsiman Rome. Meanwhile, the Local Administration Commission is discussing the fate of the 5,000 names involved in the local government exam cheating scandal - whether their appointment orders will be revoked.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Manas, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Province and former inspector of the Department of Local Administration (DLA), who was involved in writing and drafting the Terms of Reference (TOR), traveled to the DLA where the central committee for local government employee recruitment examinations was holding a meeting. He stated that he was not there to provide clarification to the meeting but would be giving information to the parliamentary committee. He emphasized that his role was only to draft the TOR and that he did not handle any other aspects. He added that he would provide further clarification on this matter, noting that the TOR was advanced compared to the previous version. He requested that this information be obtained from Mr. Rangsiman Rome.
While Mr. Arsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, will chair a meeting of the Central Committee for Local Government Employee Examinations today, it is expected that the committee will revoke the appointments of 5,000 individuals who were previously appointed to local government positions due to discrepancies found in the answer sheets for parts A and B of the examination.
