Cruel Babysitter Escapes After Allegedly Abusing Woman with Alzheimer’s

Chonburi: In a distressing case unfolding in Sai Mai, a son is seeking justice for his mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's, after a nanny allegedly subjected her to prolonged physical abuse. The accused nanny has reportedly fled.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Col. Suthee Chantana, Deputy Superintendent of Investigation at Chonburi City Police Station, has disclosed developments in the investigation initiated by the son's complaint. The nanny, hired to care for the Alzheimer's patient, was allegedly found with bruises on her body. Disturbing video evidence reportedly shows the nanny attempting to tie a towel around the patient's head, covering her mouth and nose. The complaint was officially filed on August 25th, prompting investigators to gather evidence including chat logs, photos, and videos.

Authorities have recommended that the victim be taken to a hospital for a medical examination to ascertain the cause of the bruises. They have assured that steps are being taken to bring the suspect to justice, although the nanny has since disappeared. The investigation continues as they work to ensure accountability for the alleged abuse.
