According to Thai News Agency, the committee convened an urgent meeting, leveraging its authority under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and its subsequent amendments, to devise proactive strategies aimed at consumer protection. The ongoing unrest in the Middle East has raised concerns about potential impacts on the domestic market, prompting these immediate measures.
