CIB Commander Confirms No Additional Arrest Warrants for Lawyer Tum’s Associates Yet.

Bangkok: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) Commander has revealed that a close associate of 'Lawyer Tum', known as 'Nu-Sarinee', is still within the country and, as of now, no additional arrest warrants have been issued. The decision to issue further warrants is contingent upon the availability of evidence. If further arrests are made, a press conference will be organized to provide updates. The primary assets of 'Lawyer Tum' that have been seized include cash in his bank account and a luxury home valued at 43 million baht. According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Gen. Jiraphop Phuridet, the Commander of the CIB, addressed the media in a press conference about the ongoing legal proceedings against Mr. Sittra Biabangkerd, also known as Lawyer Tum. All charges have been filed in connection with four cases involving sums of 71 million baht, 39 million baht in cryptocurrency, a Mercedes vehicle, and design costs related to a hotel and house. The Commander mentioned that an additional person is under investi gation, and if evidence surfaces, additional arrest warrants will be issued. The process will be transparent, and any new developments will be shared in a subsequent press conference. Initial reports confirm that Mr. Nu and Ms. Sarinee, associates of Lawyer Tum, are still present in the country. Regarding the assets of Lawyer Tum, authorities have seized 28 million baht from his bank account along with a property valued at 43 million baht. These assets are reportedly linked to a total sum of 71 million baht. Other seized assets include vehicles and properties. Upon inspecting Lawyer Tum's safe, no items were found, including a luxury watch that has since been recovered by the police.
