Chonburi’s Political Leaders Solidify Campaign Strategy for 10 Constituencies

Chonburi: Sonthaya and Suchart have confirmed that Chonburi's political landscape is clear of overlapping constituencies, with a total of 10 districts. The duo is in the process of determining candidates and is set to campaign in unison.

According to Thai News Agency, the announcement came after a private discussion among key figures of the Bhumjaithai Party, including Mr. Sonthaya Khunpluem, Mr. Chatda Thaiset, and Mr. Suchart Chomklin. Reporters questioned whether Mr. Suchart and Mr. Sonthaya, both influential figures in Chonburi, had any overlapping interests regarding the districts. Mr. Sonthaya assured that they were united under the banner of Bhumjaithai Chonburi, as previously declared by the Prime Minister. The team is actively deliberating on candidate placements within Chonburi's 10 districts, emphasizing unity and cooperation in the region.

In response to inquiries about Mr. Suchart's interest in District 1, Mr. Sonthaya stated that discussions were ongoing. Mr. Chada Thaiset noted that resolution would follow once discussions were complete. When asked about the potential for joint campaigning, Mr. Suchart confirmed that collaboration was indeed on the agenda. The atmosphere lightened as reporters humorously noted the serious demeanor of the leaders, to which Mr. Sonthaya responded with a relaxed attitude, and Mr. Suchart joked about the lack of air conditioning, dismissing any stress in their discussions.

Addressing questions about the Prime Minister's involvement in zoning discussions, Mr. Sonthaya clarified that these matters had been pre-discussed, ensuring that no agreements were prematurely made. He affirmed the cohesive strategy of working as a team under the Bhumjaithai Party's guidance.
