Bhumjaithai Party Leaders Dismiss Rumors of Dispute in Chonburi

Chonburi: Rumors of intense discussions in 10 Chonburi districts have been quelled, with the final decision reached before the press conference.

According to Thai News Agency, Bhumjaithai Party leaders quelled rumors of a heated debate between Sonthaya and Suchat, pointing out that the 10 districts in Chonburi had already been resolved before the announcement of the Bhumjaithai Party's launch.

Reporters stated that following reports that Mr. Sonthaya Khunpluem and Mr. Suchart Chomklin, heads of Chonburi, had a heated discussion in front of the party headquarters elevator over a dispute over control of District 1 in Chonburi Province, a Bhumjaithai Party leader confirmed that this was untrue. Mr. Sonthaya and Mr. Suchart merely discussed working together under the name of the Bhumjaithai Party.

In Chonburi Province, a joint agreement was reached to divide the electoral constituencies for all 10 candidates, prior to the Bhumjaithai Party's press conference. Mr. Sonthaya and Mr. Suchart joined forces to fight the Prachachon Party, after working separately. This led to a split in the vote, leading to their loss to the Prachachon Party, which was previously the Move Forward Party.
