He also expressed concern that the people are losing hope and the country is not moving forward. Meanwhile, Pipat said, "Let's all join together and cheer."
According to Thai News Agency, reporters provided insights into the atmosphere at the Bhumjaithai Party's war room, following the Constitutional Court's ruling on the audio clip of Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra. Prime Minister Chaichanok Chidchob, MP for Buriram and Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party, was present at the party. When asked by reporters about the activities in the war room, Mr. Chaichanok stated, "Just gathering. I miss you all. I'm excited, I'm excited."
Reporters further inquired if he was supporting the prime minister. Mr. Chaichanok denied this, viewing it as a matter of timing. He emphasized the importance of focusing on natural phenomena, which he observed to be increasing. Despite being satisfied with the government's actions, he criticized their insufficient preparedness and the resultant losses in property and lives. He assured that the Bhumjaithai Party would continue its efforts within its responsibilities.
Mr. Chaichanok also addressed concerns beyond natural disasters, including security threats and the mental health of Thai citizens. He believes that current relief efforts are inadequate for all situations, particularly flood relief, which he argues fails to address the full scope of losses. He stressed that the well-being of the people is paramount, and if people lose hope, progress stalls.
Meanwhile, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, a key leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, was noted for his encouraging words, "Let's join in the cheering," as more party members, including Mr. Jessada Thaiset, MP for Uthai Thani, who arrived with a cane due to an accident, gathered in the war room.
