The search will continue today, with expert personnel closely monitoring the excavation process.
In addition, municipal officers from Khlong Toei and Yannawa districts have been deployed to the area 24 hours a day. A command center has been established in the area to coordinate and continuously monitor the situation. Oil vapor levels in the area are being measured and reported every hour, and the situation in the area is being monitored every 30 minutes to assess safety and be prepared to respond if the situation changes.
This morning, officials from various agencies continue to monitor and control the situation regarding fuel contamination in the drainage system. Yesterday, officials excavated the ground to inspect the pipes and discovered the leak. The company responsible for the pipeline has been ordered to urgently rectify the situation and take full responsibility for any damages and impacts caused.
Following up on the situation, Mr. Chatchart visited the Chuea Phleng Phatthana community, located near the incident site, to listen to and assess the impact. He found that residents could still smell a faint scent of oil, but it was significantly weaker than before, almost gone.
