According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Paisarn Hongthong, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), stated that the event aims to promote the consumption of Thai fruits and support local fruit farmers. The fair offers customers and the public the opportunity to purchase premium agricultural products and a variety of quality community products from farmers nationwide. The focus is on seasonal fruits such as durian, mango, lychee, guava, and golden bananas, available at affordable prices.
The BAAC Market, themed 'Thai Fruit Fair', features over 50 shops offering fruits directly from farmers. Notable participants include Tong Sai Rayong from Rayong Province and W.S.C. Love Farmers from Phetchaburi Province, known for their premium-grade durians. Other highlights are W.S.C. Ban Dong Processed Fruits in Nakhon Nayok Province, offering dried banana chips and tamarind mixed with sugar, and Im-em Coconut Water from Samut Sakhon Province, featuring 100% fresh coconut juice. Wasana Melon Farm in Saraburi Province also participates, providing FDA, GAP, and Thai GAP certified melons and cantaloupes.
In addition to fruits, attendees can enjoy food from renowned shops, shop for clothes, accessories, and herbal products.
