Atletico Madrid’s Alvarez Set to Rejoin Training Amid Transfer Speculations

Madrid: Atletico Madrid is set to welcome back Argentina international striker Julen Alvarez to training on Sunday, following his absence from the squad that faced a 3-1 defeat to Sevilla on Saturday night.

According to Thai News Agency, Alvarez had been training individually at the club's training center during his brief time away from the main squad. The striker is now preparing to rejoin his teammates in full training sessions. This development comes amidst ongoing speculations regarding his future at the club.

Mateu Alemany, sporting director of Atletico Madrid, addressed the situation in an interview with Movistar, emphasizing the club's commitment to keeping Alvarez. "We have always been clear. Both the board of directors and Miguel ngel Gil Marn (the club's CEO) have already spoken about it. I will refer to that, so why would I add anything more?" Alemany stated. He also mentioned that Alvarez had been unwell for several days but is now expected to be ready to play in the next league game.
