Bangkok: The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has announced the closure of Aranyaprathet Station due to unrest on the Thai-Cambodian border. This decision has resulted in adjustments to train operations on the Eastern Line to ensure safety and compliance with the current situation.
According to Thai News Agency, the unrest in the Thai-Cambodian border area in Sa Kaeo Province has led to the temporary closure of Aranyaprathet Station and a disruption of Eastern Line train services. In response to the escalating conflict, the Aranyaprathet Municipality has issued an evacuation notice for residents within the municipality and surrounding areas, advising them to move to designated evacuation centers for their safety.
