Bangkok: Apple has officially announced the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone that promises to revolutionize design with the introduction of the thinnest display ever seen in an Apple device. The iPhone Duo combines a unique experience from its dual screens and operates on the custom-designed iOS 27 operating system.
According to Thai News Agency, the device features a 5.4-inch outer screen that unfolds into a large 7.6-inch display, crafted from nano-texture glass to reduce glare and minimize creases. Notably, it supports the Apple Pencil, offering users a seamless experience whether the device is folded or unfolded. The iPhone Duo's robust body is made from grade 5 titanium and includes over 100 hinge components, alongside Ceramic Shield 2 for enhanced water and dust resistance rated at IP68.
Under the hood, the iPhone Duo is powered by the A20 Pro chip, featuring 2nm technology, a Vapor Chamber cooling system, and a dual battery that promises all-day performance. The smart camera system includes a 48MP Fusion main camera and a 48MP Ultra Wide camera, offering features such as Duo Preview for live image previews, AI-powered Auto-Capture, and high-resolution selfies using the rear camera.
The iPhone Duo will be available for pre-order on Friday, October 16, 2026, with a starting price of 79,900 THB for the 256GB model. It will officially hit the market on Friday, October 23, 2026. The device comes in two colors, Star White and Night Sky, and is available in various storage capacities, including 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB models.
