“Anutin” orders investigation into facts of Tha Uthen subdistrict chief issue

"Anutin", Minister of Interior, ordered an investigation into the facts in the case of the Tha Uthen District Chief, the defendant in the Tak Bai case, returning to work immediately after the statute of limitations expired, and to report the results within 15 days. Ms. Traisuree Traisaranakul, Secretary to the Minister of Interior and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, said that Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has ordered Nakhon Phanom Province to investigate the facts of the case that appeared on social media regarding Mr. Wisanu Lertsongkhram, District Chief of Tha Uthen, Nakhon Phanom Province, who is a defendant in the Tak Bai case and must be brought to court by October 25, 2024 before the case expires. It appears that Mr. Wisanu Lertsongkhram submitted a leave request between October 15-18, 2024, but his superior canceled the leave request because there was an arrest warrant and he could not be contacted for more than 10 days until the case expired on Oc tober 25, 2024. On October 26, 2024, Mr. Wisanu Lertsongkhram reported to the Tha Uthen District Office, Nakhon Phanom Province, and came to work. The process must be carried out strictly in accordance with the relevant laws. As follows: On 29 October 2014, Mr. Arsit Sampantharat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, sent a letter to the Governor of Nakhon Phanom Province to investigate the facts in order to obtain the facts and create fairness for those involved, especially the issue of when Nakhon Phanom Province was informed that Mr. Wisanu Lertsongkram was a defendant in a criminal case. Did the police inform them that there was an arrest warrant and coordinated to send him for prosecution or not? And what actions were taken?
