Bangkok: Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, expressed that today holds special significance as he received blessings of happiness and prosperity from monks. After making merit by offering alms on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great's birthday, National Day, and Father's Day on December 5, 2025, Anutin acknowledged the day as auspicious and proceeded to pay respects at the City Pillar Shrine.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin remarked on his absence of travel plans during the New Year, stating that in his three-year tenure as Minister of the Interior, he has not ventured far but has instead focused on tasks such as inspecting traffic and ensuring the convenience of citizens returning home. He likened this routine to a form of vacation, involving movement from place to place.
