Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, has expressed confidence in his ability to disclose his assets to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) in compliance with the law, amid questions concerning the Rancho land and a loan agreement.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin was approached by the media regarding his asset acquisitions related to the Rancho Charnvirakul hotel and airport located in Khanong Phra Subdistrict, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. He clarified that the matter is not under scrutiny at this time and emphasized that his constitutional asset declaration to the NACC has been consistently aligned with the principles established since 2004, ensuring adherence to the Constitution and legality.
The media further inquired about an 8.5 million baht loan agreement with a debtor named Pranee, where Clause 2 specifies an interest agreement of 0.6 percent per year. Notably, this detail was absent from the latest asset declaration filed with the NACC. In response, Anutin stated, "I have an explanation for the NACC. Okay, thank you very much."
