Bangkok: The Prime Minister signed off on the division of responsibilities among the seven Deputy Prime Ministers. Pipat will oversee Transport and the Digital Economy and Society; Ekniti will manage Finance and Energy; Yoschanan will control all ministries allocated to the Pheu Thai party; and Supajee will oversee Commerce, Industry, Culture, and Tourism. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul signed an order from the Prime Minister's Office to delegate authority and responsibility for overseeing and performing official duties in various agencies to the Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office.
According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, oversees the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Policy Office. Deputy Prime Minister Songsak Thongsri oversees the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (specifically the sports sector), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Public Health, as well as the National Water Resources Office (NWRO), the National Land Policy Office (NLPO), and the National Health Commission Office (NHCO).
Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, is responsible for key economic areas including the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy, the Budget Bureau (partially), the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), and the Board of Investment (BOI). Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, oversees the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC).
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Ms. Supajee Suthamphan, oversees the service and industrial sectors of the economy, including the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (specifically tourism), the Ministry of Culture, the Department of Public Relations, and the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB). Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilapraphan is responsible for legal matters and governmental systems, including the Cabinet Secretariat, the Council of State, the Civil Service Commission, the Public Sector Development Commission, and the National Office of Buddhism, as well as the affairs of the Royal Academy of Thailand. He also oversees and signs documents related to requests for royal pardons and applications for Thai citizenship.
Mr. Yotsanu Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, oversees social and human resources affairs, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the Office of National Reform Steering Committee, the National Strategy and Reconciliation Committee, the Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization), and the Knowledge Management and Development Office (Public Organization).
The four Ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office include Ms. Suphamas Isarabhakdi, who will oversee and act on behalf of the Prime Minister in the Public Relations Department, the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB), and supervise state enterprises, including MCOT Public Company Limited. Mr. Napin Srisarppang oversees public organizations including the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the Creative Economy Agency, the Night Safari Organization, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), and the Social Enterprise Promotion Agency. Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul is responsible for the Budget Bureau (partially), the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), and digital/cyber agencies such as the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) and the National Digital Economy and Society Commission (NDESC). Ms. Suksomruay Wantaniyakul oversees the Office of the Royal Development Projects Coordination Committee (ORDPCC), the Land Bank Management Inst itute, and the National Village and Urban Community Fund Office.
