Buriram: The Agricultural Land Reform Office (ALRO) recently conducted an inspection of the "Forest Lord Camp" in Buriram province, focusing on the boundaries and land allocation status. According to Thai News Agency, this inspection was prompted by news reports that linked the camp to high-ranking officials. The ALRO's investigation is concentrating on three primary concerns: the demarcation of land reform and forest boundaries, the usage of land, and the current status of land allocation. The organization stressed its commitment to enforcing laws and regulations to ensure fairness for all involved parties.
Mr. Setthakiat Krajangwong, Secretary-General of ALRO, disclosed that Mr. Winai Mekdam, an ALRO Inspector, has been tasked with verifying the facts regarding the land ownership at "Than Chao Pa Camp," located in Village No. 12, Lam Nang Rong Subdistrict, Non Din Daeng District. This action follows reports linking the property to high-ranking officials. The investigation is a joint effort involving ALRO Buriram, the Lam Nang Rong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Non Din Daeng District authorities, the Forest Resources Management Office Region 8, Forest Protection Unit BR.1 (Dong Yai), as well as local headmen and relevant agencies to ensure accurate information gathering.
