Bangkok: The Agricultural Museum Office in Commemoration of His Majesty the King (Public Organization), or AMO, has been awarded the "Outstanding Organization in Anti-Corruption Award 2026" by the Anti-Corruption Foundation. The award ceremony took place at the Multipurpose Building Auditorium, National Defence College in Bangkok, and was presided over by Professor Vicha Mahakun, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Foundation. Representing AMO at the ceremony, Ms. Suparat Panpadung, Director of the Administrative Office, received the award on behalf of Chief Petty Officer Prasert Malai, Director of the Agricultural Museum Office.
According to Thai News Agency, Chief Petty Officer Prasert Malai expressed that the award serves as both a source of pride and a confirmation of the museum's dedication to good governance, transparency, and accountability. The museum maintains a corporate culture that opposes corruption, focusing on moral principles and social responsibility. Its mission includes sharing knowledge about the agricultural achievements of Thai monarchs, promoting the sufficiency economy philosophy, and encouraging lifelong learning for the public.
The National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) is also working to enhance its management system, ensuring efficiency and transparency in alignment with the Integrity and Transparency Assessment criteria for government agencies. NESDC's initiatives aim to instill ethical values and integrity among personnel, improving service quality and building trust with the public and stakeholders.
The 2026 Outstanding Anti-Corruption Organization Award highlights the Agricultural Museum of Thailand's commitment to transparency and good governance.
