Warawut Calls for Urgent Compensation for Families Affected by Nong Bua Lamphu Shooting.

Nong Bua Lamphu: "Warawut" has urged the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to expedite assistance for families affected by a tragic shooting rampage in Nong Bua Lamphu, which resulted in the deaths of three individuals. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, the Minister of Social Development and Human Security, addressed the incident involving a gunman who fatally shot three neighbors in Non Muang Subdistrict, Si Bun Rueang District. The Center for Accelerated Public Welfare Management (CWRM) of Nong Bua Lamphu Province, along with other local authorities, visited the site to investigate and provide moral support to the victims' families. The deceased include Mr. A, aged 56, and his son Ms. B, aged 28, as well as Mr. C, aged 67. The suspect, identified as Mr. D, aged 58, was a close friend of Mr. A, with financial disputes cited as a possible motive for the crime. Efforts are underway by police and officials to apprehend Mr. D, who has reportedly fled to the border area bet ween Sri Bun Rueang District, Naklang District, and Erawan District. Authorities have issued a public appeal for information to aid in his capture, urging residents to exercise caution. The Ministry, through its Emergency Response Center in Nong Bua Lamphu, has provided emergency and financial assistance to the bereaved families, addressing social, economic, and logistical needs, including funeral arrangements. Additional support from the Red Cross and the Provincial Justice Office has been extended to those impacted by the criminal act. Mental health services are also being offered to the families and community members affected by the tragedy. Residents in distress are encouraged to contact the Ministry's free 24-hour hotline for support, as the Ministry continues to coordinate efforts to assist those impacted by the incident.
