Jakarta: The Thai national team under 23 years old collected 3 points after defeating Timor Leste 4-0 in the first match of the 2025 ASEAN Championship. The next match will be against Myanmar on July 22. According to Thai News Agency, the first match of the AFF U23 Championship, Group C, took place at the Patriot Stadium in Indonesia, where the Thai national team defeated Timor Leste 4-0. The War Elephants secured their victory with goals from Yotsakorn Buapha in the 13th minute and Thanawut Phochai in the 40th minute. In the second half, Seksan Ratree scored in the 50th minute, followed by Chawanwit Sae Lao who netted the final goal in the 73rd minute. By the end of the game, the Thai U23 team had successfully collected three points, marking a strong start to the 2025 ASEAN Championship. The team's next match is scheduled against Myanmar on July 22 at 8:00 p.m.
