According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Jitpas Tan Kridakorn, Acting Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party and Chief Advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, attended the Democrat Party meeting to elect a new leader and executive committee. She emphasized her loyalty to the Democrat Party and her willingness to contribute where she can for the benefit of the country and its citizens. Ms. Jitpas mentioned she was invited by party leaders to participate in the meeting and intends to fulfill her responsibilities diligently. However, she remains uncerta
in about her future role, awaiting the outcome of the leadership election.
When questioned about her political future with the Democrat Party, Ms. Jitpas reiterated her dedication to hard work and her desire to engage in any beneficial work opportunities. Regarding the potential political impropriety of aiding another party, she noted her focus on contributing positively to the nation and mentioned a request from a senior official to assist the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Ms. Sunatcha Losatapornpipit, Democrat Party MP for Trang, addressed speculation about her potential departure from the party if Mr. Sathit Wongnongtoey assumes leadership. She stated she would decide after the party leader and executive committee elections are concluded. She also referred to her father, Mr. Somchai Losatapornpipit, a former MP for Trang, who has clearly spoken about his political career.
