Thieves Steal Exotic Reptiles From Pata Zoo

Bangkok: Thieves stole two animals, stuffing them into a bag, and fled from Pata Zoo. Pata Zoo warned, “The animals? … at Pata Zoo are no different from John Wick’s dogs!!”

According to Thai News Agency, Pata Zoo’s Facebook page posted a notice about the theft of a Chinese crocodile lizard and a tiger salamander, reptiles from the exotic animal zone. CCTV footage captured the entire incident, showing a man and a woman, aged approximately 25-35, visiting the zoo at 10:40 AM on Labor Day morning. They had a baby squirrel monkey in their bag that they needed to leave at the ticket counter.

Then, after 11:00 AM, they were seen skillfully attempting to pry open the exotic animal enclosure with their bare hands, removing a Chinese crocodile lizard and a tiger salamander. They then used a shirt to conceal them and placed them in a blue backpack before leaving the zoo and subsequently retrieving the squirrel monkey.

Pata Zoo also stated that “The animals at Pata Zoo are no different from John Wick’s dogs!!” The zoo has filed a police report at Bang Yi Khan Police Station and has prepared a sketch of the person based on CCTV footage.
