78 delegates from Thai Red Cross Society, Lao Red Cross, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) joined the 3rd Thai-Lao Red Cross Conference between 3-4 November 2022 in Nakhon Phanom Province. The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary General of Thai Red Cross Society and Dr. Phouthone Muongpak, Lao Red Cross President. All the participants were warmly welcomed by Mr. Chanchai Kongtan, the provincial deputy governor of Nakhon Phanom Province.
The essential topics of this conference included the review of the past cooperation between Thai Red Cross Society and Lao Red Cross, relief operation and health promotion, blood transfusion services, fundraising and communication, Red Cross youth and volunteer, and cross-border cooperation between Thai and Lao Red Cross.
