Bangkok: “Thammanat” is confident that “Pai Lik” will win all 4 constituencies in Kamphaeng Phet, mocking the People’s Party as not being in his equation. He outlined a lengthy campaign schedule from north to south, noting that the southern region is not performing strongly in the final stretch, as per the rules.
According to Thai News Agency, Captain Thamanat Phromphao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, in his capacity as the chairman of the advisory board of the Kla Tham Party, discussed the party’s campaign schedule, stating that everything is now planned. Tomorrow, he will travel to Nakhon Ratchasima province, followed by Nakhon Sawan, Tak, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lampang, Nong Bua Lamphu, Mukdahan, and Chaiyaphum provinces before heading to the southern provinces.
When asked whether he would go to assist Mr. Pai in Kamphaeng Phet province, where there appeared to be a conflict between Mr. Pai Lik, MP for Kamphaeng Phet from the Kla Tham Party, and Ms. Ratchanok Srinok, a party-list MP from the Prachachon Party, Captain Thamanat said, “There’s no need to go. Pai can help himself.”
Further questioned on his confidence in securing the position in Kamphaeng Phet province, Captain Thamanat simply replied, “Yes.” When the reporter asked if that meant Kamphaeng Phet province was a must-have area, Captain Thamanat stated that Kamphaeng Phet is a province where they intend to secure seats in all four constituencies and are confident of winning at this time, but added that it also depends on the people of Kamphaeng Phet.
Regarding whether the People’s Party is considered a competitor in the area, Captain Thamanat said it’s unlikely to be in the equation, emphasizing that it depends on the people. When asked if their campaign in the South was gaining momentum in the final stretch, Captain Thamanat firmly stated that it wasn’t, everything was proceeding according to the rules, and there was nothing unusual.
