Bangkok: Thammanat Prompao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, has not yet engaged in discussions with Decha Isara Khaothong about joining the Kla Tham Party. He emphasized the need for prior consultation with the Prime Minister.
According to Thai News Agency, Thammanat addressed the circulating rumors regarding Decha Isara's potential alignment with the Kla Tham Party. He clarified that he is currently prioritizing his work commitments and has not initiated conversations with any parties involved in the matter.
When asked about an invitation extended to Colonel Hi for discussions, Thammanat explained that his responsibilities involve assigning Colonel Hi to travel across several provinces concerning the election. Additionally, he mentioned that Group Captain Anudit is jointly handling this assignment.
Thammanat was also questioned about the possibility of Decha Isara working with the government, considering past controversies like the Khao Kradong issue. He remarked that such decisions require thorough consultation with the Prime Minister, highlighting mutual respect between the parties involved.
On the topic of potential conflicts in the Songkhla MP area, Thammanat stated that he has not yet contemplated the issue to that extent. He reiterated the necessity of discussing various matters with the Prime Minister before moving forward.
