Bangkok: "Ink" took her family to visit her father before her release on May 11. Former Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, along with her husband Pitak Sukhsawat, Pintongta Shinawatra Kunakornwong, and lawyer Winyat Chatmontri, represented the family in their 60th visit to Thaksin Shinawatra, amidst a large contingent of media personnel covering the event.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thaksin has been in prison for 7 months and 21 days, and in just 11 days he will be released on parole on Monday, May 11th. This follows a decision by the Sub-committee for Parole Consideration, which approved Mr. Thaksin as one of 859 eligible convicts for general parole, but with the condition that he wears an EM (Electronic Monitoring) bracelet until his release on September 9th.
