Bangkok: Taxpayers in Thailand are being reminded to file their personal income tax forms, Por.Ngor.Dor. 90/91, by the upcoming deadline of April 8, 2025. The government has facilitated the filing process through online channels, including the D-MyTax e-Filing system and the RD Smart Tax application, aiming to streamline the filing experience for taxpayers.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anukul Prueksanusak, Deputy Government Spokesperson, highlighted that after filing, taxpayers must complete several important steps. These include uploading necessary supporting documents, checking refund status via PromptPay, and opting for tax installments if needed. Tax refund status can be tracked on the D-MyTax system by logging in with the required credentials and following a series of steps to ensure secure access to refund information.
Mr. Anukul also detailed the refund process, noting that taxpayers not subject to audit criteria will receive their refunds via PromptPay within 3-5 business days. In cases where audits are required, the Revenue Department will reach out for additional documents. The tax payment can be made in up to three installments without interest, provided the tax amount is at least 3,000 baht. Applications for installment payments can be submitted either at Revenue Department branch offices or through the department’s website.
Mr. Anukul concluded by urging all income earners to ensure their taxes are filed by the April 8 deadline to avoid fines and legal penalties. For further inquiries, taxpayers are encouraged to contact their local Revenue Department office or reach out to the RD Intelligence Center.
