Thailand Monitors Plague Threat and Addresses Local Water Disputes

Bangkok:Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed concerns over villagers removing sandbag dikes intended to manage water drainage. Provincial governors have been instructed to handle the situation, ensuring necessary measures are in place.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin also discussed Thailand's vigilance regarding a plague outbreak in Russia. The Thai Ministry of Public Health is prepared with countermeasures and medical supplies to respond if necessary.

Additionally, Anutin mentioned that Deputy Prime Minister Songsak Thongsri has been tasked with addressing the P-Move group's request to transfer the responsibilities of the Land Bank Management Institute to the Community Organization Development Institute.

When questioned about the potential for a no-confidence motion by the opposition party in October and whether it would be discussed at the Bhumjaithai Party meeting, Anutin did not respond verbally, choosing instead to smile and proceed to a meeting.
