Bangkok: The Meteorological Department has forecasted that from April 10th to 15th, Thailand will endure hot to very hot weather with minimal rainfall. The southern region is expected to experience scattered thunderstorms alongside high daytime temperatures.
According to Thai News Agency, the Thai Meteorological Department's 7-day forecast outlines that the country will face hot to very hot conditions with hazy skies during the day and scarce rain. This weather pattern is attributed to a low-pressure system fueled by heat covering upper Thailand, coupled with weak southwesterly winds across the region.
In the southern parts of Thailand, scattered thunderstorms are anticipated. The hot daytime weather is influenced by westerly winds impacting the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. Despite these conditions, wave activity in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea is expected to remain weak throughout the forecast period.
The public is advised to be vigilant regarding their health due to the extreme heat. It is recommended to avoid prolonged outdoor activities. Additionally, there are warnings concerning potential dangers from thunderstorms and strong winds in certain areas. Sailors in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea are advised to steer clear of regions experiencing thunderstorms during this period.
