Hat yai: Thai Beverage Public Company Limited continues to provide support to flood victims. This initiative is being coordinated with government agencies and networks in various provinces to expedite the mobilization of assistance and alleviate the suffering of affected residents, including officials, doctors, nurses, and volunteer agencies, particularly in Hat Yai, Songkhla, Satun, Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat districts.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Adisak Thepas, Chairman of the Disaster Relief and Volunteer Project of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, revealed various assistance and recovery initiatives. Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chief Executive Officer, has assigned teams to continuously provide relief to affected people in 10 provinces in the lower northern and central regions. They have delivered drinking water and other supplies to provincial governors to help distribute relief to residents' homes.
Furthermore, they have collaborated with the Royal Thai Navy to transport drinking water to southern Thailand affected by the floods. The water was transported from the Sattahip Naval Base headquarters to Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, and several other southern border provinces. HTMS Chakri Naruebet has now arrived in Songkhla Province, delivering drinking water and consumer goods from both ThaiBev and the National Defense College 66 (NDC) cadets to flood victims through the Royal Thai Navy and Songkhla Provincial Hall.
The supplies are to be forwarded to Senanarong Camp (42nd Military Circle), which is the disaster relief headquarters of Songkhla Province, and to be handed over to volunteer agencies and various foundations that came to help search for disaster victims so that they can quickly bring drinking water to the victims.
