Bangkok: “ThaiBev Football Academy” delivered an exceptional football experience for National Children’s Day 2026, with the participation of former Thai national football player Teeratep Winothai and top sport content creator ‘Lee So’, who inspired over 600 young athletes. The event, hosted by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, also recognized young footballers with the ‘ThaiBev Good Child’ award for 2026.
According to Thai News Agency, the event was graced by Mr. Kittiratt Na Ranong, Advisor to the ThaiBev Football Academy Project, alongside Mr. Patrick Horattanachai, Director of External Affairs at Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, and Mr. Jetsadakorn Kochs, Director of Marketing at Chang Natural Mineral Water. The gathering took place on January 10, 2026, at the ThaiBev Football Academy.
Mr. Patrick Horattanachai emphasized ThaiBev’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainability in Thai sports and instilling sportsmanship values. He highlighted the ThaiBev Football Academy as a project that reflects their sustainable development philosophy, having nurtured numerous young footballers into professional athletes over the past 18 years.
The event, supported by partners like Chang Natural Mineral Water, Oishi Group, KFC, Magnolia, European Foods, Molten, and Ari, featured a variety of football skills activities. Young participants engaged in skill tests such as juggling, shooting, and aerial passing, with guidance from Teeratep Winothai and ‘Lee So’.
Twenty ‘ThaiBev Good Kid’ awards were distributed to children showing dedication, improved skills, and respect for their peers and coaches, laying a foundation for becoming good athletes in the future.
Additionally, the event promoted environmental conservation, aligning with the 2026 Children’s Day motto, “Love Thailand, Care for the World,” by incorporating waste sorting points to foster environmental awareness among the youth.
