Bangkok: “Chaba Kaew,” the Thai women’s football team, has been placed in Group A alongside Cambodia, Singapore, and Indonesia for the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games women’s football competition. The event is scheduled to take place in Chonburi.
According to Thai News Agency, the draw ceremony for the 33rd SEA Games women’s football competition was conducted on October 19, 2025, at the Deluxe Resort and Spa Hotel in Bangkok. The competition, hosted by Thailand, will see a total of eight countries participating, with teams divided into groups based on their performance in the 2023 SEA Games.
The draw split the teams into two groups of four. The top teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. Group A consists of Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, and Indonesia, while Group B includes Vietnam, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
All matches in the women’s football competition will be held at Chonburi Stadium and the stadium located within the National Sports University, Chonburi Campus.
