TAT joins hands with Central Pattana to organize a major campaign to stimulate the economy at the end of the year.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has joined hands with Central Pattana Public Company Limited and leading partners from both the public and private sectors to boost the Thai economy in the last quarter by launching the campaign 'The World's Great Celebration 2025' to celebrate the end-of-year joyful festival, starting from 1 November 2024 - 5 January 2025, expected to boost the number of tourists and spending by 25-30 percent Mr. Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Chief Marketing Officer, Central Pattana Plc., said that this year, Central Pattana has joined forces with leading partners, including the Embassy of Finland, TAT, Finnair, and many private companies, to create a Theme Experience for Central shopping malls nationwide as the Santa Village Themed Park Experience and bring the real 'Santa Claus' to visit Thailand. It has also elevated Thailand to become a World-Class Destination by organizing Mega Magnet Events throughout the year to support both Thai and foreign tourists, especially the 15 Tourist Mall s, which are designed to reach the main target groups such as Chinese tourists, solo travelers, couples, families, nearby tourists from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, as well as long-distance tourists from Russia, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. The goal is to support the increase in the number of foreign tourists to be in line with the TAT's target of 36.7 million people by the end of 2024. The "The World's Great Celebration 2025" campaign will be held from November 1, 2024 to January 5, 2025 at all Central shopping malls nationwide. Mr. Nithee Seeprae, Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, Tourism Authority of Thailand, said that TAT wants to push Thailand to become a Tourist Hub, a center of tourism, with measures to stimulate tourism through organizing events, using the strengths of the Soft Power selling points in the F-Festival dimension as a tool to promote tourism at the end of the year. The target to attract tourists to Thailand in 2024 is 36.7 million people, expect ed to generate income of 3.5 trillion baht, as Central Pattana has shopping malls in every region, so it plays an important role in pushing this policy. Mrs. Kristina Guvaya-Santopoulos, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Thailand, said that bringing the real 'Santa Claus', the True Spirit of Christmas, to Thailand for the first time with this campaign is to allow everyone to experience the atmosphere as if they were in Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, the official birthplace of Santa Claus.
