Chiang mai: Police escorted a suspect to the scene of a gruesome crime for a reenactment, where he confessed to murdering and burning a homeless man. The suspect, now remanded in custody at the Chiang Mai Provincial Court, admitted to killing three previous victims.

According to Thai News Agency, the investigation led by the Police Region 5 Commander revealed chilling details about the suspect, Mr. Pa-nae, who confessed to a series of violent crimes. The first incident occurred on April 29th, when he stabbed and burned Mr. Boonrueng under the Rattanakhosin Bridge in Chiang Mai. The following day, April 30th, he allegedly assaulted another homeless individual to death under the Khua Saliveangping Bridge. Earlier this year, he reportedly killed a homeless man using rocks in Chiang Rai province before making his way to Chiang Mai. However, Mr. Pa-nae denies any involvement in the case of another homeless man who was burned in an abandoned building near the Arcade bus station.
